Nikon announced the replacement to the S560, the Nikon Coolpix S570 digital camera with a stylish design at less than 1-inch thick. The Nikon S570 has a 12 MG sensor and a 5x wide-angle zoom NIKKOR glass lens.

Nikons Scene Auto Selector eliminates the need to manually select a scene mode to match the shot, making it faster and easier to capture the moment. The Nikon Coolpix S570 digital camera uses this intelligent function to analyze the subject and surrounding setting and automatically selects the most appropriate of the following six scene modes to achieve optimal results - Portrait, Landscape, Night Portrait, Night Landscape, Close-up, or Backlight.

The Nikon Coolpix S570 also boasts a Smart Portrait System to capture red carpet smiles every time with its blink proof technology - the new Nikon digital camera automatically takes two sequential shots when the subject smiles, saving only the one in which the subjects eyes are wide open.
