Plus, the ergonomics of the leg-angle release mechanism and the quick-action leg locks have also been greatly improved, making it a breeze to open, position, and close the tripod in just a few seconds. The tension of the locking mechanism is even user-adjustable, so you can find the right tension for your comfort level. And should you need to balance the tripod on an uneven surface, you can set each of the legs to a different spread angle over the tripod's center of gravity--a must for nature shots on outdoor terrain.

The Manfrotto 128RC Aluminum Head is perfect for lightweight video cameras (up to 4 kg), and features a pan bar, a quick-release camera plate with secondary security, and pan and tilt locks. The MF 128RC also works with the optional 200PL-38 plate.

The Manfrotto  128RC Fluid Head is the perfect support for spotting scopes and small telescopes. Smooth pan and tilt movements (with independent locks) are guaranteed by the use of silicon fluid cartridges, while the adjustable pan bar can be positioned either on the left or right side of the head. Equipment up to 4kg in weight is securely attached to the head by a quick release plate system. Head to tripod attachment is 3/8" female. Quick-action leg locks allow you to quickly and quietly set the tripod into position.
