The Manfrotto MF 055XB is one of the most versatile and popular tripods in the Manfrotto range.

The Manfrotto 055XB Calssical Tripod Black is built on the same ergonomically improved design as the 055XPROB, but without the horizontal center column feature.

The Manfrotto Calssical Tripod is lighter in weight and slightly more compact. The ergonomics of the leg angle release mechanism and the quick action leg locks themselves have also been greatly improved. The leg angle presets allow the camera to reach all intermediate heights from min-max extension.

The Manfrotto MF 055XB makes the famous Manfrotto-patented horizontal center column feature even easier to use. By extending the column to itshighest vertical position, it can be swung around to horizontal without removing the head or disassembling the column itself, so switching between framing and positioning setups is more convenient than ever.
