The Canon Powershot G12 replaces the PowerShot G11. The Canon G12 lifts the benchmark for compact zooms with an outstanding 5x wide-angle (28mm) optical zoom, and vari-angle LCD screen.

 

The Canon Powershot G12 offers a revolutionary series of features never seen before on a Canon enthusiast compact camera - a 10.0 Megapixel Canon CCD sensor, 2 shots per second continuous shooting, full HD movie capture and Canons new DIGIC 4 processor for fast performance and richly detailed, clean images in a wide range of shooting situations.

 

With a Canon 5x wide-angle (28mm) optical zoom lens, the Powershot G12 tackles everything from long-range composition shots to sweeping landscapes. Canons Hybrid Optical Image Stability combines with advanced technology for excellent results at macro, low-light and high-zoom capacity. And thanks to Canons optical Image Stabilizer - which now offers a 4-stop advantage - camera shake blur avoided even with the zoom fully extended.
